1. Any personal information you supply will be kept confidential by East Mentoring Forum Ltd (“Forum”). By agreeing to be bound by these conditions you consent to the Forum collecting, storing and processing the personal data collected. That data is used to validate your membership, prevent duplication and for contact purposes as set out below.
2. Normal Forum contacts will be by e-mail and the Forum will send you information about the Forum and mentoring. On rare occasions the Forum will send important materials relating to mentoring to individuals by post when not suitable for e-mail.
3. The Forum will not, without your prior written consent, share your details with any external organisations.
4. Programmes of mentoring, and the contact and organisation details supplied by members offering mentoring services, are assumed to be ‘public domain’ and interested parties can, through the website, see details and contact addresses. These are under the direct control of the person(s) responsible for offering the services and can be changed at any time.
5. The Forum exists to share information and ideas and, whilst the Forum will take all reasonable care to ensure that only accurate and appropriate material is published, the accuracy and content of all material is the responsibility of the publishing member and does not necessarily reflect the views of the Forum.
6. You may request at any time, that the Forum stops using your information and stops sending information to you, by emailing or writing to the Forum at the addresses provided below.
7. You can obtain details of the personal data held about you by the Forum by writing to us at the address below to request this – there is a fee for this service.
8. The Forum may disclose your information to a person or organisation that is to take over the services or role of the Forum and such a person or organisation shall be entitled to process your data in the same manner set out in these conditions.
9. If we make any changes to our privacy policy in the future these will be drawn to your attention and you will be given an opportunity to opt-in to any new usage of your personal data.
