When and why will I need a mentor?

We might need a mentor at anytime of life. Some people are lucky to have parents, teachers, bosses or friends who are good at listening and encouraging. There are also times when even the lucky people can come across new situations in life, in their jobs when they need more than advice and need to tap into the experience of another person. In that period of change a mentor can help us to manage the transition. Sometimes we don’t know what help we need and feel stuck and frustrated. Some of these situations can steal our self confidence and potential leaving us feeling unfulfilled. A good mentor sheds the light which helps us move forward in our chosen direction.
