Welcome to Mentfor

Mentfor CIC is a Community Interest Company previously funded by the East of England Development Agency and the European Social Fund. We have a large network of nearly 4000 members representing individuals and businesses involved in mentoring from all over the UK and worldwide. Our business focus is mentoring to develop people and encourage them to achieve their personal goals.

What is mentoring?

There are many definitions of mentoring. Mentoring is a learning experience rather than a process. Mentoring relationships create unique learning opportunities for the mentee (the person being mentored) to help them develop to their potential and grow in self confidence. It encourages the mentee to develop life skills and other skills of personal management.

Our vision

Our vision is to make mentoring accessible to individuals and organisations in the UK by providing a network of mentors and schemes. We want to facilitate access to mentors and/or mentoring schemes matching needs and preferred location.

Through our website, we want to increase our list of members, promote the benefits of mentoring and provide the latest information and post mentoring events.
